A bracing day out walking on the North Yorkshire Moors (OS maps available),an exciting visit to the coast to explore the quirky steep, narrow streets of Runswick and Robin Hood's Bay or perhaps a more cultural visit to the numerous ancient abbeys of North Yorkshire. Whichever you choose, Fountains, Rievaulx, Byland or Jervaulx you will be impressed by the skill and ingenuity of the monks who lived, worked and worshipped there.
